Background

City Cuisine was started in 1998 as a cooking class provider. Within a year, we started to provide catering and personal chef services.

City Cuisine's chef and owner is Carol Levin, a 1991 graduate of the Baltimore International Culinary College. Prior to culinary school, Carol was a computer consultant at Booz, Allen, & Hamilton for five years, during which period she also received her MBA in Information Systems from the George Washington University.

Carol has worked in several restaurants and banquet facilities around the country, including Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado, Glacier Park Lodge in Montana, and Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. She has worked for several caterers in the Washington area as well as running her own business. She taught cooking classes at the Arlington County Adult Education Program for seven years.
